The story reads very well and can contribute to children being able to name their genitals, which is important - as the authors explain with examples of situations in the epilogue. Unfortunately, intersex is explained in somewhat abbreviated terms relating to genitalia. Using the younger sibling Mika and the example of Mika's mum and dad, the book explains very sweetly how a baby can be born
